The market still looking for a resolution to the Greece debt problems as a reason to be positive this morning. With a resolution expected by Friday and also the monthly employment situation rport due out on Friday morning the end of the week could see some volatility in the markets.
Less than 20 days left in march expiration now and around 45 for April. Last week as part of our portfolio class we entered a April iron condor and it took quite a while to get a fill. I have been hearing this complaint a lot over the last week. Perhaps the lower vols have lessened the appetite for far otm strikes. Keeping working from the mid point but you may have to cave a little more than normal if you want a fill. Don’t forget volatility will rise towards the end of the week probably into the news.
